2023
Project: Corporate Internal Communications
Client: Orlando Health
The Problem: With increasing cyber attacks across the globe hitting every industry, the IT Security, Risk & Resiliency department wanted away for team members to understand the risks of being online and be better aware of potential threats to their digital safety.
The Solution: The Chief Security Officer decided a monthly awareness article would provide a way for team members to stay informed.
The Result: Over the course of the year, cybersecurity topics ranging from mobile device security, SEO poisoning and artificial intelligence (AI).
2022
Project: Corporate Internal Communications
Client: Orlando Health
The Problem: Our IT and Clinical Engineering department had a new book club many team members were unaware was being held.
The Solution: I took the initiative to draft an introduction and send to the IT Communications Manager for review.
The Result: The manager was impressed with the draft and decided to publish the article on the company intranet site. This led to the creation of a book club intranet site in which I currently manage.


2019-2021
Project: Blog
Client: Nandra Publishing, LLC
The Problem: Nandra Publishing needed a way to connect with the book publishing community and gain more site visitors.
The Solution: The company decided it was best to start a blog site writing opinion pieces, book reviews, other informative content like case studies.
The Result: A series of blogs were completed over the course of 2 years which helped increase site visitors by about 50%.




2014
Project: Blog
Client: Orlando Weekly
The Problem: Orlando Weekly needed an editorial intern to help offload their growing pile of work.
The Solution: To gain experience, I reached out to see if they would like to have me onboard for college credit.
The Result: Orlando Weekly hired me for a few months to cover their current events and gain experience alongside the Editor-In-Chief.
2011
Project: Column
Client: College Park Newspaper
The Problem: College Park Newspaper approached Edgewater High School looking for a student reporter to write 1 spotlight piece as an opportunity for a student to gain journalism experience.
The Solution: After careful interviews, I was chosen as their pick for student reporter. I was then assigned to write about philanthropist and activist Dr. Kathryn L. Norsworthy.
The Result: I spent time interviewing Dr. Norsworthy and getting to know her history and impact to the community. The feature was reviewed and satisfied the company and it was published as my first ever piece.
